About Bayway Dental

Meet David Sherberg,
DMD, FAGD

A resident of St. Petersburg, Dr. Sherberg founded Bayway Dental with the goal of providing most, if not all, dental services for his patients right at his office. With advanced training across multiple specialties of dentistry, Dr. Sherberg guarantees he can find the best solution for fixing complex dental problems. Offering One-Stop Shop dentistry is what differentiates his office from other dentists’ offices.

After graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sherberg opted to continue his education with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has received extensive dental implant continuing education, including the Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Dental Implant Certification at the University of Florida, Full Arch Guided Surgery, and Immediate Teeth (Same Day Teeth®) training from The Pikos Institute, and membership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. As a testament to his commitment to excellence in IV sedation dentistry, he is a certified DOCS Education member.

He’s committed to public service, as an oral surgery volunteer at Remote Area Medical in Florida. An avid researcher, Dr. Sherberg enjoys furthering his dental education and has received the highest distinction as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He lectures nationally to prestigious dental organizations, is a faculty member of the Phelps Institute, and has been featured on ABC News and CBS. Often in the spotlight, he has received numerous “Best Dentist” awards throughout his career, most recently voted Best Dentist of Tampa Bay out of a highly competitive group of over 1,000 dentists.
