Isn’t It Better to See a Specialist?
Of course, not one doctor can master all aspects of dentistry. When necessary, Dr. Sherberg coordinates care with carefully vetted specialists. He will even attend the surgery to ensure it fits into the overall plan.
Have you been told that removing your teeth is your only option? Maybe it is, but maybe it isn’t! Dr. Sherberg doesn’t only replace teeth with dental implants. We frequently meet patients who have been told there is only one solution for their dental problems – and then after consulting with Dr. Sherberg, they learn about 2 or 3 new options!
We take patient consultations seriously and dedicate time to consider both your treatment goals and budget. You will leave here understanding exactly why some options are better than others – and maybe even learning about a new option that you didn’t even know about!
What Is the Difference Between Bayway Dental and Corporate Offices?
The main differences here are:
Quality, Training, and Experience of the Dentist. Dr. Sherberg oversees your entire treatment, from start to finish. You see the same dentist every appointment instead of a new person trying to get up to speed on your situation each visit.
Our Office is Focused on Patient Satisfaction, Period. Corporate offices have monthly quotas, cost-cutting, and shareholder profit goals.
We Guarantee Our Work! You’ll love your new smile, we guarantee it! Read more about the Bayway Guarantee here.
What Are the Benefits of a Concierge Dentist?
- Unhurried office visits and more time with the doctor.
- One-on-one consults with the doctor to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options.
- No waiting. Our appointments run on time. We understand how busy life can be and your time is valuable, too.
- Full costs of treatment are provided upfront before you begin any work — even for complex Smile Makeover cases involving several specialties of dentistry!
- Limited referrals outside of our office. Most procedures and surgeries are done right here by one doctor.
- Careful coordination with the best dental specialists in the Tampa Bay area, if needed.
- Careful review of your medical history and prompt coordination of care with your medical doctor(s).
- Coordinated Pharmacy medication care.
Is Concierge Dental Medicine Right for Me?
Also referred to as boutique practice, a concierge practice prioritizes the doctor’s time with patients. At other offices, dentists are often forced to see more patients and spend less time with each patient. This decreases the patient’s quality of care. This also means longer waiting times to see a doctor who often has little time to spend with you because other patients are waiting too.
Other dental offices may delegate important tasks to non-doctor staff whenever possible, increasing the chances of error. Concierge doctors, sometimes referred to as boutique doctors, simply see fewer patients and give the highest quality of care possible to each one.
What Types of Procedures and Surgeries Does Your Doctor Perform?
- Dental Implants (Single, Multiple Teeth, or a Full Arch of Teeth)
- Same-Day Smile (All-on-4 Dental Implant Surgery)
- Full Smile Makeovers
- Oral Surgery: Tooth Extractions, Crown Lengthening, Bone Grafts, Soft Tissue Grafting, & Sinus Lifts
- Prosthodontics: Removable Dentures, Partial Dentures, & Implant-Supported Overdentures
- Cosmetic Dentistry: Crowns, Bridges, and Veneers
- Endodontics: Root Canals
- IV and Oral Conscious Sedation
- Orthodontics: Invisalign® Clear Braces
- Periodontics: Gum Infection Treatment (Scaling and Root Planing) and Perio Protect®
- Preventive and Diagnostic Procedures (Cleanings, Exams, X-rays, and Cone Beam CT Scans)
How Does My Dental Insurance Work if I Become a Member of the Dental Concierge Plan (DCP)?
Our office also accepts all PPO dental insurance. These are insurance plans that let you choose your doctor instead of giving you a list of doctors that you must see to receive benefits. Patients often find that membership in our Dental Concierge Plan provides richer benefits and more savings than their insurance plan. The DCP plan cannot be used in conjunction with another dental insurance plan.
What Payment Options Do You Offer?
Dental Concierge Plan membership fees are paid at the beginning of the membership period using cash, check, or credit card.
For treatment, Bayway Dental offers multiple financing options for those who qualify with approved credit. Some options include:
- No down payment required
- Zero interest
Our Financial Coordinator will work with you to get a monthly payment that works for your budget.
